The grape varieties used to make this wine are vinhas velhas/ old vines. The colour is deep red with hints of purple. This intense and powerful wine has elegant aromas that are dominated by notes of bergamot oil, and balanced out with aromas of wild forest berries (blueberry and mulberry) with well-integrated high quality oak.
The taste is elegant and voluptuous, yet fresh and well-balanced with notes of wild forest berries.
It has a long finish and is ideal with grilled meats or stews, hard cheeses.
