Quinta da Biaia organic and vegan wines come from an ecological estate marked by the influence of a mountain reef. The Marofa hillsides are of an average altitude of 750m. The framing by rivers; Douro, Coa and Agueda rivers give a unique profile to the wines from this property. Quinta da Biaia privilege spirit, freshness and natural acidity. Their wines express the earth.
Winemaking: Fermentation in stainless steel and aging in used French oak barrels (25% New), with weekly battonage, for 8 weeks.
Tasting Notes: Light onion skin in colour. Very fine aromas of red fruit (currant and raspberries), toffee, mint and flint. Delicate and voluminous flavour in harmony with a lively and refreshing acidity. A wine that aims to make the grapes shine showing it’s best: delicate wild fruit, flowers and stone fruits.
