Quinta da Biaia organic and vegan wines come from an ecological estate marked by the influence of a mountain reef. The Marofa hillsides are of an average altitude of 750m.
Winemaking: Hand picked grapes. Fermentation by grape variety in stainless steel tanks. Half of the blend ages in used French oak barrels for 8 months.
Varieties: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz.
The organically grown grapes promote sustainability and biodiversity.
Aroma: This red blend is fresh and lively with aromas of red fruits and vegetable notes.
Tasting Notes: A wine rich in fresh aromas of red fruit and vegetable notes of resin, pine and esteva, with a rich and dense flavour, with freshness and sweet tannins.
Store and Serve Advices:
Storage Lying down at a temperature of 15°C. Serve at a temperature of 16°C to 18ºC.
Food Pairing: A perfect companion to tasty gastronomy and a natural expression of the Beira Interior terroir. Pairs well with red meat dishes, Lasagne, tapas, as well as traditional Mediterranean courses and cheeses.
