This is Vinho Verde of yesteryear: by bottling the wines early, fermentation is completed in the bottle, resulting in a subtle pearl ring. This is very subtle compared to the bubbles of a pét nat or a Sparkling wine, but just enough to add a touch of excitement to the glass.
To achieve this effect, the wine is bottled unfiltered, which gives it a slightly cloudy appearance
